Founder Dagmar Kraemer brings her many years of experience in the fashion and jewelry industry to every design. In 2019, she fulfilled her dream and founded fejn jewelry – a label for urban, conscious women who combine style and attitude.

The RJC is a non-profit standards and certification organization founded in 2005 to promote responsible ethical, human rights, social and environmental practices throughout the jewelry industry supply chain.

Recycled precious metals
All fejn jewelry pieces are made from high-quality precious metals sourced from recycled materials:
Our silver jewelry is made from recycled 925 sterling silver. It is either left in its natural state or plated with 18-karat recycled gold. All silver jewelry is stamped with the '925' and 'fj' hallmarks.
Our solid gold jewelry is made from recycled 14-karat or 9-karat gold. All gold jewelry pieces are stamped with the fineness mark '585' or '375' and 'fj'.
'Recycled' means metal that has been recovered from previous production processes or from consumption; newly mined metal is excluded.
We ensure this promise by regularly and carefully auditing our supply chain and requiring our direct production partners to declare and prove the origin of the metals used in our jewelry.
Environmentally friendly packaging
All fejn packaging is made from environmentally friendly materials.
From jewelry boxes to shipping cartons: Jewelry boxes are made in Denmark from FSC-certified cardboard. The foam inserts contain a small amount of plastic, which is recyclable. Jewelry pouches are also made in Denmark from organic cotton. Shipping materials are sourced in Germany; they are completely plastic-free and made from recycled cardboard.
We also reduce waste by offering a zero-waste option for jewelry packaging and reusing returned shipping boxes as much as possible.
Environmental & climate protection
fejn jewelry strives for climate compensation wherever possible. Our shipments are partially offset by our logistics partners, ensuring climate-friendly delivery.
Furthermore, we contribute to the preservation and protection of our climate: We regularly donate to PLANT-MY-TREE® to support German reforestation projects, as well as to PLANT-MY-CORAL® to reforest heat-resistant corals in the Andaman Sea of our production country Thailand.
In our business premises, we use electricity from 100% renewable energy sources and environmentally friendly office supplies.
Responsible manufacturing
fejn jewelry collaborates with selected, long-established manufacturers in Thailand, a country renowned for its rich tradition of silversmithing.
Responsible manufacturing means ensuring human rights and fair labor practices not only for ourselves, but also for our direct production partners.
We ensure this by requesting documents and information from all production partners to verify that they treat their employees responsibly and fairly. Our partners' business practices are also reviewed through regular visits by our founder, Dagmar Kraemer.
