Women support women - International Women's Day donation

Fejn jewelry is a female led business that consists of 100% female employees. We would like to make the female support for equality and fair working conditions that we live among ourselves in Germany possible worldwide. As an RJC-certified company, we can guarantee that our (female) employees in Thailand are also treated with fair and equal rights and pay. But as a sustainable, fair company, it is just as important to us to constantly expand and improve our efforts.

#EmbraceEquity is this year's International Women's Day theme. Distributive justice is not only an issue when it comes to the pay gap between men and women (#GenderPayGap), but also affects very basic social and legal factors in many regions of the world. Discrimination on the basis of sex is still prevalent in many countries agenda and many girls and women are denied equal opportunities and a self-determined life.

Covid, war and the earthquake have worsened women's living conditions

In recent years in particular, the covid pandemic, the war in Ukraine and most recently the earthquake in Turkey and Syria have made life extremely difficult for many women. That's why we decided this year on International Women's Day to send our donations to a global aid organization so that the experts can use our donations worldwide where they are needed most.

UN Women is the United Nations entity dedicated to promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls around the world. Donations can be used in a targeted manner in worldwide projects and emergency aid, thereby bringing about a real turnaround and a direct improvement in living conditions.

We want to support women in the current crisis regions and worldwide. To this end, we are making a donation to UN Women today.
